Abstarct: Abstract Limestone quarry is located near the Hirkani forests of Mazandaran and has been used since the 1980 s to provide the limestone feed needed by Mazandaran Cement Company. Currently, corrosion of the forest landscape and the high changes in the topography resulting from the extraction of limestone from the mine and the possibility of throwing dirt around the mining area are important issues that need to be studied. The location of this mine is more than ever about the need to address the natural resource rehabilitation approach. The immediate vicinity of the mine with the forest and the presence of the three large villages around it and its proximity to the city of Neka reveal the need for the use of new and environmentally friendly methods in the reconstruction of the mine after the completion of the extraction. Possibility of planting plant species similar to the forests around the mine in the mining step after preparing the conditions for planting trees such as transferring and spreading the soil on the stairs, along with the optimal use of the pit of the mine floor in the form of creating a lake A wide area with recreational sailing opportunities and providing a suitable place for recreation for residents of the city of Neka is discussed in this article. Regarding the diversity of vegetation species in the area, which is about 18 species of forest tree, the study of these species and their planting with special focus on species such as Zarbin, Haddaghan and Oak, which grow well in rocky areas derived from Mining and also species such as alder, spruce and lagger, which have a rapid growth in soil with good moisture and which prevent the drift of earthy stairs, has been proposed to ultimately in addition to mine rebuilding and revitalization Natural resources in the economic field are also an effective step towards sustainable development of the region.
